SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed about the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level designed for intervention activities a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
